Service was exceptional and friendly. Couldn't be happier with the choice I made by choosing them to repair my car.

I loved how he was able to fix our ford with in only a few hours and how fast the fixed our car and the service there is great and so are the workers I get a 5 star rating

Have always known what they are looking at and doing. If they are unsure about something they say they are unsure and tell me what they can do to be sure. Have never had an issue at the garage and have always gotten the best value at this shop. Amazing customer service and quality work.

We had a brake caliper freeze up on us while going up Hwy 23. GPS brought us to this garage and I am so relieved it did. Polite, respectful guys who did all they could to find the parts to get us back on the road. If I have a regret, it is that I don't live in the area to give them more of my business.

Had a wheel bearing starting to make some noise... Original quote was around $275 or so... They said they ran into some issues and they now had to replace they CV shaft, I'm looking at around $550 or so... I'm not happy at this point, but I OK they work.... The next time I heard from them they had rendered my vehicle immobile... Bearing, CV shaft, knuckle... and all the labor involved in trying to press the shaft through the bearing (unsuccessful). I talked with the service manager about ordering the parts myself to try and save some money on the repair (repair now being more than the value of the car). He "OK's" the order because the timing was the same as the part delivery from his supplier... Fast forward a couple days to when the parts arrive... Manager calls me to tell me that the labor rate has changed since I ordered my own parts... (contradictory to the conversation we had on the phone).... Not wanting to argue with the manager who is clearly getting direction from the owner, I ask to talk to the owner. ---- Either the manager completely lied to the owner or the owner completely lied to me. I work in automotive manufacturing, I almost always do my own repairs, we had something going this weekend and my wife talked me into just dropping it off local so I didn't have to mess with it... I'll never go back here again (which stinks, because they have good oil change deals)... I would NEVER recommend this shop to anyone I know. Accidents do happen when repairing cars... honesty needs to prevail and not at the expense to the customer.

Hello Scott, I appreciate you answering my call but unfortunately you hung up on me prior to being able to discuss your service concern that happened over 1 year ago. We take these items very seriously and stand behind all of our service for 2 years, if there is something that is not right we are more than happy to do whatever it takes to make it right. With that being said there are several items that are not accurate or complete in your above statement. I am happy to discuss and resolve any items that we are negligent on. -Your original quote was for wheel bearing replacement on your 13 year old, 200k mile Mitsubishi, nothing else. -To replace the wheel bearing you must remove the axle shaft from the center of the wheel bearing, yours being 13 years old and 200k miles of aging abnormally & excessively seized the two components together. Using a 60 ton shop press & torches to heat up the items red hot were still unsuccessful in separating the two components requiring the steering knuckle to be replaced and thus the additional cost. -You brought in your own components for the service after we informed you of what is needed. Our business is based on service and materials, and we provide a 2 year warranty when performing all of those services. When you provide your own parts you are removing 50% of our revenue, we, just as any other business could not sustain operations on 50% revenue, that is why there is an additional cost if you insist on supplying your own parts in which you did. This is not something we hide, it is standard business. -Accidents do happen. When they do we take 100% responsibility for them. This was no accident, it was only a consequence of performing service (surgery) to a very old and worn vehicle. These items are designed to be taken apart and put back together. After 13 years and 200,000 miles sometimes that changes. -We agree that honesty needs to prevail, that is why we take the time to monitor and respond to all reviews of our business and invite all of our customers to visit, see behind the scenes and ask questions. If you feel that any of this information is inaccurate please contact the shop and we would be happy to resolve. Even though this service was performed in April of 2016 we still recall it clearly as it is not a normal circumstance. Cordially, -Andy and The Hamburg Garage Service Team

I couldn't be happier about the service I received from Hamburg Garage. There were several options of how to service my vehicle, and they were all explained in detail so I could make an informed decision. The service writer Dan really made me feel like he wanted to do what was best for me, not the shop. And I couldn't believe how quickly the mechanics completed the work! I'll definitely return for any future service I need, with confidence that I can trust them.

Horrible experience here. Took my car in did not really know what was was wrong with it, described the symptoms, they say sure no problem nearly $400 dollars with of labor later, they tell me they don't know what wrong with it, replaced nothing repaired nothing, and gave it back to me in worst shape then i gave it to them, they still forced me to pay nearly $400

Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. Communication and trust are our top priorities and it sounds like we fell short of your expectations. I was not able to locate the specific details of your repair with the information that was provided. All of our work including diagnosis comes with a 2 year/24,000 mile guarantee so if something is not right we would like the chance to fix it. I would love the opportunity to discuss the situation with you and find out where the break in communication occurred. I can be reached at 810-231-4030 or at [email protected] Thank you for the opportunity to try and make this right. Sincerely, Andy Massoll Co-Owner of the Hamburg Garage
